Norman Biondi


Honey Biondi


Norm Biondi and Honey Biondi are Emily’s parents and reside in Ellicott City Maryland.

Honey Biondi participates as a board member of her family company, Indian Trails Inc., a bus transportation company over 106 years old, headquartered in Michigan. Honey holds a BFA degree in Art from Bowling Green State University and a BA degree in Photography from Brooks Institute.

Norm Biondi is a senior partner with HLB Network, a financial planning and investment group with primary offices in Ellicott City Maryland and Overland Park Kansas. Norm holds a BS degree in Political Science from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon.

Honey and Norm are involved as volunteers with The Living Legacy Foundation and support the efforts of Team Maryland, representing Maryland in the Transplant Games of America. Norm acts as a coach for track and field events.

Other family members supporting Emily’s Gift are Nathan Biondi, Emily’s youngest brother and Taylor Biondi, Nathan’s spouse. Nathan & Taylor live in Nashville. Brendan Biondi, Emily’s younger brother and his partner, Christen Weaver, live in Columbia, Maryland.

Christa Gahagan


Christa Gahagan is the Secretary/Treasurer of Emily’s Gift. She donated a kidney to her husband in July 1998. Since that time, she has been active in the transplant community volunteering with The Living Legacy Foundation and Donate Life Maryland. She is a member of Team Maryland and looks forward to competing in her 6th Transplant Games in August of 2018 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Christa is also the Treasurer of TRIO-Maryland Chapter, Inc., the local chapter of Transplant Recipients International Organization. Christa was married to Michael Gahagan for 36 years and has two sons—Sean and Mike. She holds a B.A. degree in Communications from Notre Dame of Maryland University. She has been employed as an Executive Assistant for EMJAY Engineering and Construction Co., Inc. in Baltimore for 22 years. She enjoys traveling (especially cruising), golfing and spending time with family and friends.
