The Michael Gahagan Transplant Community Scholarship
Two $2,500 scholarships will be awarded to undergraduate students who qualify by being organ transplant recipients, living donors, or members of donor families. This will involve an application process and review by committee.
This scholarship is named in memory of Michael Gahagan. He was a two-time kidney transplant recipient, one of which was given by his wife, Emily’s Gift Board Member Christa. Michael was a founding member of Emily’s Gift and was very active in the transplant community, including competing with Emily in the Transplant Games.
Currently accepting scholarship applications from January 1, 2020 through March 31, 2020 for the Fall 2020 semester.
